Tempest Michaels is somewhat at a loss what to do himself after he gets out of the army. He decides to open an investigation agency. Due to a mistake running his first ad, he gets calls for solving supernatural crimes. The guy is a pure skeptic. But he soon learns he has a lucrative niche as he debunks one problem after the other, exposing the fraudsters and criminals preying on people.
These are genuine mysteries, and a lot is funny. Some of it is guy humor. I read a bunch of the books.
